Upin & Ipin and ULTRAMAN RIBUT Review

Image
Ultraman! Nothing can be said about this long running television series from japan. First appearing on television in 1966 and continuing still to this day. Ultraman is also one of the three longest running live action television shows. In 1966, Ultraman became the first Giant hero and created the Kyodai (giant) Hero genre. But Ultraman hasn't remained just Ultraman. There are many others. Ultraman: 7, Taro, Jack, Zoffy, Ace, Ginga, Tiga, Dyna. Gaia, 80, The Great, Powered, Zero, Zearth, Cosmos, Agul, The Next, Nexus, Noa, Astra, Leo, and many more! this isn't what I want to talk about, though I just wanted to tell you a little about ultraman so you know a little about it before hand. This is who I'm supposed to be talking about Their names are Upin and Ipin. Twin boys of 5 years. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd I have absolutely know clue what kinds of things happen on their show. Why? Because it's from Malaysia! And it is cgi animated. A

Magi-Nation Revisited

I talked big game in the first post about the first episode of Magi-nation. Now I have to correct a mistake. I revisited the first episode of Magi-Nation and I have to say that my opinion has only changed a little. The animation only impresses me a little. I noticed that the good monsters are the ones that look cute. The summoning spell for monsters is "With this animite I magine!" Its not two sentences like I thought it was. The library scene doesn't last as long as I thought it did but main villain of the series still stands there letting a little girl count to 5 so she can calm her breathing instead of knocking her out of the way and gaining the key to his freedom. Seriously!!! There are also a few new urks that I noticed. One of them being the main villians lack of emotion or movement. You barely see him move except for a few parts in the beginning. His face also shows that same expression and I didn't feel a main villain vibe from him at all. The first ep

Magi-nation Review

Unlike my Galactik Football review I'm going to skip right to the point. I watched the first episode of a show called magi-nation because I saw a trailer for it on CookieJar's website. I saw that trailer my second year of highschool. I didn't think magi-nation made it to tv but lo and behold I was wrong. Through coincidental accident. I discovered a youtube video by a guy with the username Doknot1999 (??????????) His video was about the Cw4kids and toonzai blocks that would air on Saturday mornings. I watched the cw4kids up until it became the 2cent cardboard cut out called toonzai (cool name, dumb mascot, shitty bumper animations, no new shows except for a few). Anyway I'm watching this guys video and getting pretty pissed off because he just said the shows sucked without actually giving an actual explanation as to why he did not like them. So I swore that I'd make a response video and prove to him that these shows did not suck and judge fairly and not in a p

Galactik Football Season 1 Review

I Love This Show!!! This show is so cool! Too bad it'll never come to America. (No more Saturday morning cartoons)   Galactik < with a K not C (I spelled it right)  Football > The game where you kick a ball with your feet (also known as soccer)   I'm only going to talk about the animation, my feelings after watching the first episode, voices and a little bit about the story and characters.   If I ever get around to making a video review I'll get more into detail. For right now I'm making this a recommendation/review.                     First Episode and First impressions Let me start by explaining the job of the first episode. The First episode is the First Impression and it is the most important episode of any series. The first episode should put the thought of "Hmm, I would like to see more of this series. It seems interesting." That's why first episodes, especially in cartoons, seem really cool or over the top. The f

Hello

Dragon DJ D-archivekid, an alien from the stars, has come to earth to archive and review the different forms of human entertainment and critic them. Why? For the study of human nature and their strange art forms. Okay that bs stops there. Hello, to all who are reading this. Please excuse my bad grammar and punctuating and editing. I'm gonna be writing my reviews in the same way that I talk. So if you have a struggle understanding what the hell I'm saying that is probably why. I don't really need to explain but I'll do it anyway. I'm a writer and I have some serious OCD when it comes to writing sentences. When writing I spend a lot of time writing a sentence of paragraph of a story and then spend even more time doing this and that, to make it sound better. I don't want to do that for these. When I figure out how I'll also record my reviews on video. That way you'll be able to hear my words instead of reading them in the form of rough text on a web
